How to use the output
- Copy the full
<script>block and paste it anywhere inside the<head>or<body>of the page that displays these FAQs. - The questions you list in the schema must also appear visibly on the rendered page — ideally as H2 or H3 headings.
- Validate with Google's Rich Results Test before deploying.
- Good answer length is 40–80 words. Shorter answers get ignored; longer answers dilute the extract.
Why FAQ schema matters for GEO
FAQ schema does three things at once. It tells Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity exactly what question is being answered, where the answer begins, and where it ends. That makes your content pre-chunked — which is the single most retrievable format for AI engines.
